Carmen Carmona Carmen has been writing since she was a child. She never dared to publish because she felt her writing didn't align with her professional career as a Cultural Manager. She has served as President of the Cultural Institute of Miranda State, Cultural Director for the Chacao Mayor's Office, Producer of the Caracas International Theater Festival, Producer at the Ateneo de Caracas, and has produced over 100 plays across Venezuela and the United States. Forced to leave her country, she now lives in the diaspora in Miami.
