Religiosity and Totem, Consciousness and the Clan

Religiosity is a practice that is submerged in and shaped by a variety of spiritualities that coexist with it. These spiritualities are sometimes confused with traditional religions. Thus, practices like tarot or tobacco are rejected and considered outside of churches and traditional religions. Meanwhile, practitioners of these religions, with data such as birth dates, the configuration of the stars, or the circumstances of their upbringing, have information to know that there is a totem in a traditional religion today, be it Christianity, Buddhism, Shintoism, Taoism, or Hinduism. And people, perhaps consciously or unconsciously, seek to influence this person because they consider them to be what is known in the West as God or a totem. However, this person, just as in antiquity, is outside of society, and today, followers, without the enlightened one realizing it, use the power of institutions to guarantee that the The totem is preserved as a god of antiquity.

From this comes consciousness, which today is validated by current social structures: university degrees, family, children, spouse, job, or money. But in some rural communities that migrate to cities, consciousness has the meaning of clan, and they believe they recognize the members of their community. From this recognition, they accommodate people who, perhaps without being able to recognize them, and using ancestral knowledge techniques, even if these people are part of some political, economic, or religious movement, to destabilize their orientation in thought. Perhaps they have existential problems that they send and create with ancestral techniques, and that create another reality within them, which they may unknowingly consider part of the clan. As we see, and as I try to explain in the book of readings on the Bible, these forms of life and existence are present in cities and in all conventional religions.
